In cinemas from this Friday 11th June, and then on DVD and digital from 21st June, is the British comedy Me, Myself and Di, a great little movie that will be sure to lift anyone’s spirits. I had a great time with it when I caught it last week ahead of catching up with one of the stars of the film, Lucy Pinder, to talk about her role.

The film stars Katy Clayton as the ‘Me, Myself’ of the title, the character of Janet Brown, and Lucy Pinder as Di, Janet’s best friend who accompanies her on a holiday to a caravan site in the Welsh seaside town of Rhyl.
Here is the official synopsis for the film: After winning the ‘trip of a lifetime’ to a caravan park in Rhyl, North Wales, unlucky in love Northerner, Janet Brown, is ready for a holiday romance. Unfortunately, taking the advice of her best friend, Diana – pretending to be the opposite of who she actually is in order to find love – doesn’t quite lead to the ‘happily ever after’ that Janet was hoping for.
We spoke to Lucy Pinder about the film and her role as Diana and shooting the film in the coastal town of Rhyl pre-pandemic. You can check out the interview in full on our YouTube channel via the embed below. Be sure to catch the film in cinemas from 11th June.
