A trailer has arrived for the third season in the ‘American Crime Story’ series. Following on from focusing on O.J. Simpson and then the assassination of Gianni Versace, the new run is titled ‘Impeachment’ and ‘unravels the national scandal that swept up Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp as principal characters in the country’s first impeachment proceedings in over a century.’
The series is based on Jeffrey Toobin’s book “A Vast Conspiracy,” and stars the likes of Beanie Feldstein (as Lewinsky) and Clive Owen as President Bill Clinton. Also amongst the cast if Edie Falco, Sarah Paulson, Margo Martindale, Annaleigh Ashford, and Billy Eichner.
This one lands stateside on Tuesday, September 7th on FX with the international rollout coming shortly afterwards.
