After it was baited by playing in key indie filmhouses – notably the Prince Charles and the New Beverly, we can all finally take a look at the trailer for Paul Thomas Anderson’s next film, Licorice Pizza. This one is set to open in cinemas later in the year, and boy it looks good. As well as that teaser, we also have a promo poster for the movie. Check that out below, too.
Licorice Pizza is the story of Alana Kane and Gary Valentine growing up, running around and falling in love in the San Fernando Valley, 1973. Written and Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the film tracks the treacherous navigation of first love.
Alana Haim, Cooper Hoffman, Sean Penn, Tom Waits, Bradley Cooper, and Benny Safdie line up amongst the main cast.
