A new trailer has arrived for Joanna Hogg’s The Souvenir: Part II which is set to arrive in cinemas from 29th October following a world premiere at this summer’s Cannes Film Festival. The film is a portrait of the artist that transcends the halting particulars of everyday life — a singular, alchemic mix of memoir and fantasy. As well as the new promo, we also have a beautiful new poster.
In the aftermath of her tumultuous relationship with a charismatic and manipulative older man, Julie begins to untangle her fraught love for him in making her graduation film, sorting fact from his elaborately constructed fiction.
The cast includes Honor Swinton Byrne, Jaygann Ayeh, Richard Ayoade, Ariane Labed, and Tilda Swinton.
