So, here comes the exciting news of the day – Robert Downey Jr. And Matt Damon have joined the dynamite cast of Christopher Nolan’s next big movie, Oppenheimer. The two Hollywood A-listers join the already cast Cillian Murphy and the in-talks Emily Blunt in the movie which kicks off shooting soon for a 2023 release.
Deadline report the news of the casting for the movie which revolves around ‘J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who ran the Manhattan Project that led to the invention of the atomic bomb.’
Murphy plays the titled character, while Blunt would play the role of Oppenheimer’s wife What we don’t know is who Downey and Damon will play in the movie as this is very much being kept under wraps.
Nolan scripts and directs the film over at Universal Pictures. Oppenheimer will land in cinemas in the summer of 2023.
