Check out this first trailer for Ray Donovan – The Movie, the feature following on from the hit seven-season long Showtime show, coming to the cabler in January. Liev Schreiber returns for one last hurrah as the title character, joined by series regulars including Jon Voight and Eddie Marsan.
The official synopsis for the movie is as follows:
Ray Donovan: The Movie picks up where season seven left off, with Mickey in the wind and Ray determined to find and stop him before he can cause any more carnage. The film also weaves together the present-day fallout from the Donovan/Sullivan feud with Ray and Mickey’s origin story from 30 years ago.
This has a great vibe to it and being someone who has invested in every minute of every one of those episodes across the seven seasons, I will be waiting by my TV set when it premieres in the new year.
Ray Donovan: The Movie hits Showtime on 14th January. We’d expect the international premiere to be around then too.
