Michele Soavi’s ‘Stagefright’ 4K restoration confirmed for home release from 27th December

Horror fans, mark this one in your diaries for just after Christmas; the home release of Michele Soavi’s Stagefright. Soavi’s (Dellamorte Dellamore, The Sect, The Church), Stagefright is unleashed in a new 4K restoration on 27th December, and we have the full details.

The film was released in 1987 to huge acclaim. It was also released outside of Italy as Bloody Bird and Aquarius.

When a masked killer infiltrates a group of actors rehearsing overnight in an isolated theatre, the stage is set for carnage! Featuring an abundance of over-the-top kills and spills, shot with Soavi’s typical style, marvel at the mayhem as the iconic chainsaw wielding ‘Owl Man’, delivers a blood-soaked performance for the ages.
