Our very first look at the upcoming Halo TV series has been delivered by Paramount+. This highly anticipated original series, based on the popular video game series of the same name, will arrive on our screens in 2022.. The Halo TV series trailer can be viewed in the player below.
The Halo series will be titled ‘Halo – The Series’ and is described as follows:
Dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo the series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.
One of the directors on this is Otto Bathurst, whose credits include Peaky Blinders, for which he won a BAFTA, and the recent Robin Hood film. Jonathan Liebesman, M. J. Bassett, Roel Reiné, and Jet Wilkinson will also direct episodes.
Shooting started on this one all of the way back in 2019 with the show going under reshoots after the first wave of Covid. An early 2022 release is expected on Paramount+.
