After releasing earlier this year following a delay due to the pandemic, Spiral saw the Saw franchise take a little departure from the films that proceeded it – for the better. Well, it looks like a sequel to the movie might be on the way after writer Josh Stolberg posted on Twitter to announce that he’s ‘polishing up the next Saw script.’

Spiral revolves around a criminal mastermind who unleashes a twisted form of justice in a film that starred Chris Rock, Max Minghella, and Samuel L. Jackson. The film grossed a little over $40 million from a reported budget of $20 million, and in the current global situation, that’s not bad.
No details on the new movie as yet, but we’ll keep our eyes on it.
