It looks like season three of Ricky Gervais’ superb After Life is coming to Netflix in January. The man himself tweeted an image of the official artwork for the third run on his socials yesterday sending fans into a frenzy.
The six-part series is created, written and directed by Ricky Gervais and the date for your diaries is 14th January.

In the first season, the narrative revolved around Tony (Ricky Gervais) who once had a perfect life. But after his wife Lisa dies, Tony changes. After contemplating taking his own life, he decides instead to live long enough to punish the world by saying and doing whatever he likes from now on. He thinks it’s like a Super Power — not caring about himself or anyone else — but it turns out to be tricky when everyone is trying to save the nice guy they used to know.
It’s unmissable TV and if the previous two series are anything to go by, we’re in store for something special once it returns in less than a month.
