Apple TV+ has released a first-look trailer for The Afterparty, a murder-mystery comedy series featuring an all-star cast that includes Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, Ben Schwartz, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, Dave Franco, Jamie Demetriou, and John Early.

The eight-episode first season will launch globally on Friday, January 28, 2022 on Apple TV+ with three episodes, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday. It comes to the screen from Christopher Miller who writes and directs, MIller, of course, being one half of the duo who brought us the likes of the ‘Jump Street’ movies and The Lego Movie, amongst others.
The show is described as a genre-defying series centered on a murder mystery at a high school reunion, with each episode exploring a different character’s account of the fateful evening in question, all through the lens of popular film genres and unique visuals to match the storyteller’s perspective.
Looks really good.
Here’s the trailer.
