Leo Carax’s critically acclaimed ‘Annette’ set for the physical home formats in January

It opened the Cannes film festival earlier this summer, and then went on to wow critics when it was released, and now we can reveal that Leo Carax’s Annette will arrive on the physical home formats come January 10th. It is currently available to stream on MUBI in the UK and, I believe, Prime Video stateside.

Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard lead the cast of the film while the screenplay and music are written by Ron Mael and Russell Mael of Sparks – who also had quite a year in 2021.

The story is as follows:

The glamorous lives of a seemingly perfect celebrity couple – a provocative stand-up comedian and an internationally renowned opera singer – take an unexpected turn when their daughter Annette is born with a mysterious gift. An unabashedly unique and unforgettable spectacle, this is an epic musical on the pitfalls of love, fame and fortune, featuring an original story and music by Sparks, one of pop’s best-loved and most influential cult bands.

The film will release on DVD and Blu-ray on the 10th of January. The planned extras and box art are below.

Extras:
Q&A with Ron Mael and Russell Mael (Sparks)

Six Exclusive Art Cards (Blu-ray only)
