Netflix has revealed the full and supposedly final trailer for Ozark season four, part 1. The log line for the first part of the final run reads: ‘Freedom from the cartel is seemingly within reach, but fraying familial bonds may prove to be the Byrdes’ ultimate undoing.’ The initial episodes lands on 21st January.
Ozark is a thrilling drama set in the present-day and follows the Byrde family’s journey from their normal, suburban Chicago life to their dangerous criminal enterprise in the Ozarks, Missouri. The series explores capitalism, family dynamics, and survival through the eyes of (anything but) ordinary Americans.
Part 1 will consist of 7 episodes with another 7 due, we presume, later in the year.
Those looking for a first binge of the year – and if you haven’t seen it – do start at season one as this is one of the streamer’s best.
Here’s the trailer for the new run but beware of spoilers.
