Trailer for Joaquim Trier’s Cannes-debuting ‘The Worst Person In The World’

A new trailer has arrived for filmmaker Joaquim Trier’s The Worst Person in the World, a film which debuted last summer at the slightly later Cannes Film Festival in France. Word on this one is extremely positive and I personally cannot wait to see it.

The film starts to open from February, starting in the US from where this new trailer originates.

Joachim Trier’s new film The Worst Person in The World is a modern dramedy about the quest for love and meaning in contemporary Oslo. It chronicles four years in the life of Julie (Renate Reinsve), a young woman who navigates the troubled waters of her love life and struggles to find her career path, leading her to take a realistic look at who she really is.

Big fan of Trier, particularly Louder Than Bombs, a film that I was lucky enough to interview the filmmaker for. His other films include Thelma and the Oslo Trilogy.

If you’re stateside, look for this one in cinemas from 4th February.

Here’s the new trailer.
