Amblin has released the second official trailer for the upcoming Halo: The Series, which lands on Paramount+ later this year. The cast for this one includes Pablo Schreiber, Jen Taylor, Natascha McElhone, Yerin Ha, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Olive Gray, Charlie Murphy, Kate Kennedy, Bentley Kalu, Natasha Culzac, Danny Sapani, and Ryan McParland. It will land on the streamer stateside from March.
Halo: The Series is based on the video game series which first landed on the X-Box over twenty years ago. The WikiPedia pages describes the property as follows: The original trilogy centers on an interstellar war between humanity and an alliance of aliens known as The Covenant. The Covenant, led by their religious leaders called the Prophets, worship an ancient civilization known as the Forerunners, who perished while defeating the parasitic Flood.
Jonathan Liebesman, Otto Bathurst, Roel Reiné, and Jessica Lowrey direct the episodes of the first series, which land on Paramount+ from 24th March.
