Filming has concluded on ‘Indiana Jones 5’

It has been confirmed that principal photography has officially wrapped on the fifth movie in the Indiana Jones series. Some of the filmmakers took to social media over the weekend to confirm the news.

The as-yet-untitled Lucasfilm movie once again sees Harisson Ford return to his iconic role as archaeologist adventurer Indiana Jones, this time backed by the likes of fellow cast members Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renee Wilson, and Toby Jones.

James Mangold is directing the new film, which will be the first not to be helmed by Steven Spielberg.

Producer Frank Marshall shared the following on Twitter on Sunday:

The film will release in cinemas next summer (2023), so there’s still a hefty post-production process still to go.
