Must Watch: Edgar Wright and Guillermo del Toro talk ‘Last Night In Soho’

This is an excellent watch if you have 45 minutes to spare. In this newly released video, filmmakers Edgar Wright and Guillermo del Toro get together over Zoom to talk up Wright’s latest feature, Last Night In Soho.

The film, now available on all of the home formats in most territories, is a superb journey into one of London’s most famous districts, and a brilliant throwback to the genre films of the 1960s. The two have a conversation about the movie where tons of trivia is revealed. I love this.

In Edgar Wright’s psychological thriller, Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie, Jojo Rabbit, Old), an aspiring fashion designer, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s, where she encounters a dazzling wannabe singer, Sandie (Anya Taylor-Joy, Emma, “The Queen’s Gambit”). But the glamour is not all it appears to be, and the dreams of the past start to crack and splinter into something far darker.
