HBO has released the trailer for We Own This City, the new limited series from The Wire, Treme, and The Deuce creators David Simon and George Pelecanos. The series is based on the book by Justin Fenton and is set within Baltimore’s police department.
The series boasts an impressive cast that includes Jon Bernthal, Wunmi Mosaku, Jamie Hector, McKinley Belcher III, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Josh Charles, Dagmara Domi?czyk, Rob Brown, Don Harvey, David Corenswet, Larry Mitchell, Ian Duff, Delaney Williams, and Lucas Van Engen. Guest stars include Treat Williams, Gabrielle Carteris, Tray Chaney, Domenick Lombardozzi, Thaddeus Street and Jermaine Crawford.
Directing is the supremely talented helmer of King Richard, Reinaldo Marcus Green.
This one comes to HBO and HBO Max from 25th April and we presume international broadcasters there or there abouts.
