A new trailer for Riley Stearn’s Sundance-premiering film Dual has landed online ahead of its American release next month. Karen Gillan, Aaron Paul, and Theo James lead the cast of the film.
The official synopsis for the film is as follows:
Upon receiving a terminal diagnosis, Sarah opts for a cloning procedure to ease her loss on her friends and family. When she makes a sudden and miraculous recovery, her attempts to have her clone decommissioned fail and lead to a court-mandated duel to the death. Now she has one year to train her body and mind for the fight of her life.
Our own Kat Hughes reviewed the film at Sundance and had the following to say in her wrap-up.
Just the brand of quirky science-fiction that excels on the festival circuit, Dual will excite and tantalise audiences with an appetite for smaller and stranger films.
You can read Kat’s full review here.
The film is released stateside from 15th April.
Here’s the trailer.
