A debut trailer has arrived for Don Juan, a film set to premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. This is the French trailer for the film ahead of its festival debut at the prestigious festival in the south of the country in May.
This one plays as part of the official selection at this year’s event, which kicks off on 17th May.
Here’s the synopsis:
Tahar Rahim stars as Laurent, a stage actor who gets jilted on his wedding day and embarks on a quest to seduce every woman he meets in order to mend his broken heart and ego. But none of them are lured by his elaborate charming performances, including musical ones. Meanwhile, over at the theater, Laurent plays the part of Don Juan, and is forced to star opposite his ex-fiancée (Efira) after she’s hired by the production to replace the departing leading actress.
Serge Bozon directs the film he co-wrote with Axelle Ropert.
Check out the trailer which is, for your information, in its native tongue.
