After a brief spell in cinemas where it has grossed an estimated $160 million (at the time of writing), we have the release info for the Morbius film. This is the confirmed stateside release which starts to roll out soon.
Morbius hits digital there from 17th May, and then hits the physical formats from 14th June. We’re still to get the UK release details and dates.
Here’s a reminder of the film’s plot:
One of the most compelling and conflicted characters in Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil – or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?
Check out the bonus features as communicated to us via an official release this week.
