HBO Max has released a trailer for an upcoming two-part documentary titled George Carlin’s American Dream, a film about the legendary whose career spanned half a century. This one lands on the streamer stateside from 20th May.
The logline is as follows: He dared to wake us up. George Carlin’s American Dream, a new 2-part documentary from Emmy winners Judd Apatow & Michael Bonfiglio premieres May 20 on HBO Max.
The film, directed by Judd Apatow and Michael Bonfiglio, features contributions from the likes of Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Patton Oswalt, Stephen Colbert, Bill Burr, Bette Midler, and Jon Stewart.
No news on an international premiere but we’ll keep you posted.
