A film based on the classic 1980s TV series The Fall Guy has been in the works for many years, but now it looks like it is finally happening with Ryan Gosling reportedly taking on the iconic role of Colt Severs, made famous by Lee Majors in the original show.
The news is being reported by The Sydney Morning Herald which says that the planned film will shoot in Australia receiving tax incentives to do so.
No director is attached as yet and shooting dates are unknown.
The Fall Guy was created by Glen A. Larson and revolved around a Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a bounty hunter. The ’80s show ran for five seasons from 1981 to 1986.
