New trailer for François Ozon’s latest film ‘Everything Went Fine’

A new trailer and poster have been revealed for François Ozon’s moving, deeply personal drama Everything Went Fine, which comes to UK screens through Curzon very soon.

The film was part of the Cannes Film Festival’s Official Competition last year, and features performances from Sophie Marceau (Braveheart, The World is not Enough, Beyond the Clouds) and Andre Dussollier (Colonel Chabert, Tell No One, Un Cœur en Hiver).

The official synopsis is as follows:

When the elderly André (André Dussollier) suffers a debilitating stroke, he asks his daughter Emmanuèle (Sophie Marceau) to help end his life. She gradually comes to accept his request, but the impact on her and loved ones brings out all the heartbreak and resentment in a family where Andre has never been the most loving or lovable father. A poignant reflection on a lifetime filled with tension, laughter, guilt and, ultimately, love.

Curzon will release this one in UK and Irish Cinemas and on Curzon Home Cinema on 17th June 2022.

Here’s the trailer.
