West Side Story and Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony-winner Rita Moreno is set to play the role of Vin Diesel’s character’s grandmother in the in-production Fast X Over at Universal Pictures.
The film is now in its sixth week of shooting and just today Vin Diesel took to social media to reveal the big casting news. He posted the following video of himself, along with Moreno and Michelle Rodriguez, on Instagram.
Fast X is now shooting for a summer 2023 release. It is said to be the penultimate movie in the multiple-decade series that has grossed billions of dollars at the global box-office.
