AppleTV+ has released the first-look teaser for their upcoming limited series Five Days at Memorial, which is set to debut on the streaming service very soon. The series comes to the screen from John Ridley and Carlton Cuse, adapted from the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Sheri Fink. It will start to roll out on APple from 12th August.
The series is based on actual events chronicling the impact of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath on a local hospital. When the floodwaters rose, power failed, and heat soared, exhausted caregivers at a New Orleans hospital were forced to make decisions that would follow them for years to come.
