A bunch of new movies have been announced for this year’s London Action Festival that is taking place at the end of the month in the capital. These will join the already announced John McTiernan events, including Q+A and screenings of Die Hard and Predator.
Six new events have been announced. There will be a special 25th anniversary Q&A screening of the actioner Con Air with director Simon West, another headline event bound to attract visitors.
Written by Scott Rosenberg and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (Top Gun Maverick), Con Air centers on a prison break aboard a Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System aircraft, nicknamed “Con Air”. It features Steve Buscemi, Ving Rhames, Colm Meaney, Mykelti Williamson, Dave Chappelle, Rachel Ticotin, Danny Trejo, and Monica Potter.
