A Quiet Place and The Devil Wears Prada star Emily Blunt has reportedly joined the cast of the planned movie version of The Fall Guy. The new picture, which is based on the cult ’80s TV series that was led by Lee Majors, is set to go into production soon with a 1st March, 2024 release date set by Universal.
David Leitch is directing the film for the studio, and although plotlines for the movie are being kept under wraps at this present time, the original show revolved around a stuntman named Colt Seavers (Majors) who moonlighted as a bounty hunter. The show, created by Glen A. Larson, ran from 1981 to 1986.
There aren’t any details as to who Hunt will play in the movie, but we’ll keep you posted.
