Over the weekend, Steven Spielberg’s latest film, his deeply personal movie The Fabelmans, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it was welcomed with warm applause and rave early reviews. Tony Kushner, who collaborated with Spielberg on the likes of Lincoln and Munich, co-wrote the screenplay with the iconic filmmaker.
Gabriel LaBelle, Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, Judd Hirsch, Jeannie Berlin, Julia Butters, Robin Bartlett, Tina Schildkraut and Keeley Karsten are among the main cast.
Labelle stars as 16-year-old aspiring filmmaker Sammy Fabelman in this semi-autobiographical tale from Spielberg which looks like it will be the ultimate love-letter to the movies.
This one opens in November.
