Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds will team up to star in ‘Deadpool 3’. Reynolds will return as the title character for the third outing while Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine for the first time in the MCU. This is also Deeadpool’s first outing in the widespread MCU, too after Fox’s acquisition by Disney.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are hard at work on the screenplay, reportedly working on a previous draft by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin. The film itself also has a release date set for September 6th 2024.
Shawn Levy will take the helm of the film and said the following in a statement: “I want to take a minute to thank ‘Stranger Things’ for training me to keep my big mouth shut. This news has been burning a hole in my lips for weeks now.”
Reynolds also released a video which has had nearly 4 million views at the time of writing in a little over 12 hours.
