A TV series based on the Luc Besson movie Lucy is said to be in the works over at EuropaCorp and Village Roadshow. Plot details are under wraps but it is said that Morgan Freeman is in talks to lead the cast.
Variety reports the news which says that Freeman would reprise his role of Professor Norman from the original. Not much else is known but the 2014 movie, written by and directed by Besson starred Scarlett Johansson as a woman who ‘turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.’
Personally, I really disliked the film, but I seem to be in the minority as the movie made a huge $460 million at the worldwide box office.
