The best Hollywood experiences for 2023

If you are planning a trip to Los Angeles, it is highly likely that a visit to Hollywood will be one of the things you are most looking forward to.

The home of the world-famous movie studios is the central hub for the global film industry, which makes it a hugely popular destination for millions of tourists each year.

With that in mind, we take a look at some of the exciting Hollywood experiences you could potentially tick off your bucket list in 2023.

Sony Pictures Studio Tour

A recent study by Betway Insider highlighted that some of the most iconic film franchises of all-time have been filmed at the Sony Pictures Studio.

The two-hour guided walking tour will give you an in-depth insight into how a working studio operates and allow you to see where epic movies such as Spider-Man were made.

The Sony Pictures Studio Tour offers visitors an affordable Hollywood experience they will never forget. If you do just one thing when you visit LA, do this!

Universal Studios Tour

If you fancy checking out something a little more expansive in Hollywood, the Universal Studios Tour should be right up your street.

You can check out the 13 city blocks built on 400-plus acres of studio lot, which was built with creative design consultation from legendary director Steven Spielberg.

With video narration provided by comedian and television host Jimmy Fallon, this is another Hollywood experience you cannot afford to miss in 2023.

Dolby Theatre

The 3,400-seat Dolby Theatre is the permanent home to the Academy Awards – the annual event where the prestigious Oscars are handed out.

A tour of the venue allows visitors to get up-close-and-personal with an Oscar statuette, check out the Dolby Lounge and see other exclusive celebrity hot spots.

You can even see the spot where actor Will Smith lost his cool by slapping comedian Chris Rock across the face after he insulted his wife at the 2022 ceremony.

Hollywood Bowl

Since it first opened in 1922, the stunning Hollywood Bowl has played host to some of the finest music acts ever to grace to planet.

It is the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and doubles as a public park when there are no live concerts scheduled to take place.

The line-up for 2023 features a host of top stars including Andrea Bocelli and Shania Twain. There is even an outdoor movie night for the film buffs amongst you!

Hollywood Walk of Fame

For many visitors to Los Angeles, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is THE number one attraction they want to see when they travel to the city.

Managed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, the Walk of Fame has an average of two new stars added to it on a monthly basis.

The Walk is a fitting tribute to the people who have contributed to making Hollywood the home of the film industry and is an attraction every film fan should see.
