So, here’s your very first look at the upcoming Gran Turismo movie set for release later this summer. Speeding into cinemas this August, the film stars Archie Madekwe, David Harbour and Orlando Bloom, all of who appear in the footage below.
The film comes to the screen from filmmaker Neill Blomkamp with shooting already complete, the film well into post-production. The film is obviously based on the massive game series of the same name and will arrive on screens in the summer courtesy of Sony Pictures.
The available plot is as follows:
Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.
The film only started shooting in October with it ending just before Christmas. It will be released on 11th August this year.
