Go back to ‘Titanic’ with this 25th-anniversary re-release trailer

20th Century Studios has released a trailer for their upcoming 25th-anniversary re-release of James Cameron’s Titanic. The film is getting a 4K 3D re-release in cinemas, stateside at least, in time for Valentine’s Day and this new trailer very much concentrates on the romance between Jack and Rose (Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet).

The film will be re-released to cinemas in 3D 4K HDR and high-frame rate. The film is an epic, action-packed romance set against the ill-fated maiden voyage of the “unsinkable” Titanic, at the time, the largest moving object ever built and was originally released in 1997 where it became the highest grossing film of all time, only to be overtaken by Cameron’s Avatar some twelve years later.

It is still the third highest-grossing film of all time.

US audiences will get this from 13th February and we presume the UK will also get it on the same date.

Here’s the new trailer.
