A third Tron movie is set to roll before cameras this summer. A third movie has been in the offing for some while, but now it seems to be gathering traction with Joachim Rønning at the helm.
Tron: Legacy was released on screens some twelve years ago and bagged around $400 million in revenue, but it has taken some time to get a new one going. However, it looks like it is happening and Jared Leto looks to be among the cast.
The word on the street, via Deadline, is that shooting will commence in August in Vancouver, Canada and has a titled, Tron: Ares. Jesse Wigutow wrote the screenplay for the film with this new one a sequel to ‘Legacy’.
