A debut teaser trailer has landed for Kandahar, the upcoming action film starring Gerard Butler and directed by Ric Roman Waugh. The film will land in cinemas later this year with Navid Negahban also among the cast.
‘Kandahar’ sees Butler star as Tom Harris, an undercover CIA operative, stuck deep in hostile territory in Afghanistan. He must fight his way out, alongside his Afghan translator, to an extraction point in Kandahar, all whilst avoiding the elite special forces tasked with hunting them down.
Butler starred in this year’s brilliant actioner Plane with Mike Colter, which I loved, and I have high hopes for this too.
Kandahar hits screens on 26th May.
