‘Succession’ to end with the incoming season 4

The great news is that the fourth season of Succession is just weeks away. The Roy family returns to our screens on 27th March in the UK but it has been revealed that this new run will in fact be the final one in the hugely successful series.

Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Hiam Abbass, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, and Alan Ruck lead the cast of the show that explores themes of power, politics, money and family, played out within a rich and dysfunctional family whose patriarch, Logan Roy (Brian Cox), is CEO of Waystar Royco, one of the world’s largest media and entertainment conglomerates.

The series’ creator Jesse Armstrong recently did an interview with The New Yorker stating that, when they conceived the fourth series back in 2021, they decided to “do something a bit more muscular and complete, and go out sort of strong”.

He went on to add that the decision “solidified through the writing and even when we started filming: I said to the cast, ‘I’m not a hundred per cent sure, but I think this is it.’ Because I didn’t want to bulls— them, either.”

The show airs on HBO stateside a day earlier on 26th March with new episodes rolling out weekly.
