MUBI has debuted a new trailer and poster for the upcoming Please Baby Please. Andrea Riseborough leads the cast of the film, which is directed by Amanda Kramer.
Also among the cast is Harry Melling (The Tragedy of Macbeth, Harry Potter Franchise), Karl Glusman (The Neon Demon, Love), Golden Globe nominee Demi Moore (Ghost, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent), Mary Lynn Rajskub (Safety Not Guaranteed, Mysterious Skin), Ryan Simpkins (Brigsby Bear, A Simple Man)and Dana Ashrbook (Twin Peaks), Please Baby Please received its World Premiere at the 2022 Rotterdam International Film Festival.
Please Baby Please follows bohemian couple Suze and Arthur who, after witnessing a murder in the gritty streets of a surreal 1950s Manhattan, become the dangerous obsession of a greaser gang that awakens a sleeping quandary about the couple’s sexual identity,”. Moore plays Suze’s glamorous upstairs neighbour, who has lovers and – even more impressively – a dishwasher.
MUBI will release this one in the UK and Ireland on 31st March.
