A first-look trailer has arrived for Peter Pan & Wendy, an upcoming Disney+ original directed by David Lowery set for the streaming platform in April. Alexander Molony stars as Peter with Ever Anderson as Wendy. Yara Shahidi, Jim Gaffigan, Alan Tudyk, Molly Parker and Jude Law make up the main cast.
The story is as follows:
“Peter Pan & Wendy” introduces Wendy Darling, a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home behind, who meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. Alongside her brothers and a tiny fairy, Tinker Bell, she travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland. There, she encounters an evil pirate captain, Captain Hook, and embarks on a thrilling and dangerous adventure that will change her life forever.
David Lowery & Toby Halbrooks wrote the screenplay for the movie. Looks great so far. We’re big fans of Lowery so can’t wait to see what he’s done with this material.
The film is set for Disney+ on 28th April 2023.
