The Christopher Reeve ‘Superman’ movies are coming to 4K

We’re hearing that all of the Christopher Reeve Superman movies are coming to stunning 4K in the coming months. Batman-News.com revealed the news that Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is set to debut the movies on 17th April in the UK and a day later in the US.

We’ve also managed to track down all of the information on Amazon where they list all of the bonus features set for release. As well as the four movies in the Ultra high-def format, there will be a Blu-ray disc with the feature films and special features in HD, and a Digital version of each film (not sure if that last feature is US only, though.

The official press release says that the films/ cuts on offer are: Superman: The Movie, Superman II, Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut, Superman III, and Superman IV. The release is timed to celebrate the year-long centennial celebration for the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros.
