We’ve just heard that horror movie Shepherd has got itself a UK release. The film received its world premiere at BFI London Film Festival before screenings at Stockholm, Sitges and Fantasporto where it won Best Actor and Best Cinematography.
Danse Macabre will release Russell Owen’s multi-award-winning psychological horror starring Tom Hughes (Cemetary Junction), Kate Dickie (The Green Knight) and Greta Scacchi (White Mischief). A specific release date hasn’t been set for the territory as yet.
In this cinematic tour-de-force, a grief-stricken farmer is forced to confront his complicity in the mysterious death of his wife after taking a job as a shepherd on a remote island.
