A teaser poster has landed for Wes Anderson’s next film Asteroid City has just landed. A trailer is promised for tomorrow.
Asteroid City takes place in a fictional American desert town circa 1955. Synopsis: The itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention (organized to bring together students and parents from across the country for fellowship and scholarly competition) is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.
The film is written and directed by Anderson, based on a story by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola.
A release date has been set for 23rd June in the UK, so will we see this one debut in Cannes a month earlier? We’ll keep you posted and, of course, bring you the trailer tomorrow.
