A trailer has dropped for Mercy, an upcoming action-thriller starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Leah Gibson. This is one is set to arrive on digital on May 19th, 2023 (as well as some US cinemas), and the VOD from 2nd June. Jon Voight is also listed as being among the main cast of the movie.
Plot synopsis is as follows:
An ex-military doctor finds herself in a deadly battle for survival when the Irish mafia seize control of the hospital at which she works. When her son is taken hostage, she is forced to rely upon her battle-hardened past and lethal skills after realizing there’s no one left to save the day but her.
I can’t see an indication of a UK release for this one as yet but we’ll keep you posted.
