John Wick spin-off series ‘The Continental’ teaser trailer lands

Peacock has released the first trailer for The Continental, the spin-off series from the John Wick franchise, Chapter 4 of which is still going great guns at the box-office. The three-part series is heading to Peacock stateside and is set in 1970s New York – a prequel to the film franchise based around the save haven hotel where criminals can find solace from the outside world.

The show will revolve around young Winston (Colin Woodell – played by Ian McShane in the movies) – a hitman hotelier who is drawn into the murky underworld of the city.

The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.

Street date for this one is September. We’ll bring you news on where it will pop up in the UK as and when we get it.
