Scorsese’s final run-time for ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ locked in

A final running time for Martin Scorsese’s Cannes-bound Killers of the Flower Moon has been locked in. The film, which will play out of competition at the prestigious festival in May will run at 3 hours and 26 minutes, so reports Deadline.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone lead the cast of the film, alongside Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, Jillian Dion, and Tantoo Cardinal.

Based on David Grann’s best-selling book and written for the screen by Eric Roth and Martin Scorsese, Killers of the Flower Moon is set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the “Reign of Terror”.

The Apple Original Film Killers of the Flower Moon will first be released exclusively in theaters, in partnership with Paramount Pictures, limited on Friday, October 6 and wide on Friday, October 20, in the United States.
