Juno Temple will play a major role in the planned third film in the Venom movie series, led by Tom Hardy. The new film is bounding toward production with franchise writer Kelly Marcel directing proceedings this time around.
Deadline reports the news of Temple’s casting and Hardy, Marcel, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker are producing the film for Sony Pictures. Hardy and Marcel wrote the screenplay.
So far, the Venom movies have grossed over $1.3 million and are a huge success for Sony. Deadline says that plot details for the tgird outing are being kept under wraps at the moment.
Temple can currently be seen in Apple TV+’s hugely successful football comedy series Ted Lasso (pictured).
