Hot from the festival trailer, a new trailer has arrived for Passages, Ira Sachs’ new film set for cinemas and then MUBI later this year. Franz Rogowski (Transit), Ben Whishaw (Skyfall, Paddington) and Adèle Exarchopoulos (Blue Is The Warmest Color) lead the cast of the film which premiered at Sundance earlier this year before moving onto the Berlinale and other respected film festivals.
Set in Paris, this seductive drama tells the story of Tomas (Rogowski) and Martin (Whishaw), a gay couple whose marriage is thrown into crisis when Tomas begins a passionate affair with Agathe (Exarchopoulos), a younger woman he meets after completing his latest film.
According to the YouTube page, the film hits cinemas in the US Aug 4, Mexico and Chile Aug 10, Canada Aug 11 (via Mongrel), Belgium and Luxembourg Aug 16 and Netherlands Aug 24 (via Imagine Film Distribution), Germany and Austria (via Stadtkino) Aug 31, and UK/IE Sept 1.
