Apple’s ‘Argylle’ from director Matthew Vaughn will release theatrically in February

Apple’s action film Argylle starring Henry Cavill and directed by Matthew Vaughn will get a theatrical release as well as a streaming debut. The tech giant will team with Universal to give the film a US release (at least) on 2nd February.

Not much is known about the plot of the film, but it does boast an impressive cast that includes Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose and Samuel L. Jackson.

A brief logline is available from the company which simply reads: The spy thriller “Argylle” follows the globe-trotting adventures of a super-spy named Argylle across the U.S., London and other exotic locations

Jason Fuchs penned the screenplay.
