The first trailer for Toho’s Godzilla Minus One has roared in on they official YouTube channel. Written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, the film arrives in cinemas later this year on December 1st (US). This looks absolutely epic.
The logline reads: In postwar Japan, a new terror rises; Godzilla. Will the devastated people be able to survive… let alone fight back?
This is just one of the many Godzilla projects on the way. As well as this movie, there is also Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the latest film in the Legendary series that is set for big screens next May, and then also the Apple+ series Godzilla and the Titans, which is also set in the same universe. Kurt and Wyatt Russell are among the cast of that one.
Godzilla Minus One opens in Japan first (in November) before expanding to other territories.
