The smash hit West End musical that is Wicked has been running in London for almost 17 years. Though many theatre fans know Elphaba and Glinda’s story very well, there are so many reasons to see this incredible musical more than just once! And, as the leaves turn orange and Halloween approaches, we’ve come up with 5 reasons to see Wicked this Autumn, whether it’s your first time or your eighth!
- The incredible new cast
With the newest cast being introduced earlier this year, Wicked has some incredible new talent! Even if you have seen the show before, the new cast is a reason to see it again and celebrate the world of Oz in a totally new way! With Phantom of the Opera’s Lucy St. Louis as Glinda and Les Misérables’ Alexia Khadime as Elphaba, the witches alone make 2023’s Wicked stage all the more exciting!

6. There’s an additional date for October half-term!
You heard that correctly, there is an additional matinee performance on Thursday, 26th October, to give families an extra opportunity to see the production in addition to Wednesday and Saturday’s matinees. Due to the large auditorium at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, Wicked’s in house booking team can accommodate large family groups, giving families even more reason to enjoy all the shows offered at half term!
